From picturesque colorful towns you have to see to believe, to beautiful landscapes, to downright unique roadside attractions, these are the picture worthy places we've got on our travel bucket list! See our roundup of the best unique places to snap that perfect Instagram pic. We've even jumpstarted your trip planning by detailing how you can get to each one of these spectacular destinations!

Chefchaoeun
If Visiting: Marrakesh
Located in the Rif Mountains of northwest Morocco, Chefchaoeun is known for its striking, blue-washed buildings. Tucked throughout its steep cobblestoned lanes are workshops of local leather and weaving artisans. The many shades of blue are visually stunning and make for an incredible photograph no matter where you stand.
How to get there:
Take the CTM Bus from Tangier, Tetouan or Fes. If you’re in Marrakesh, fly into one of these cities, take a taxi to the bus station and take the CTM bus from there. PS - bus tickets cost less than $5!

Burano
If Visiting: Venice
A small island off the coast of Venice is a colorful dream to capture in a photo. What makes Burano so picturesque is the brightly colored fisherman cottages ranging in shades of color outside the typical rainbow. Aside from these incredibly colored homes, this tiny town is known for its handmade lace, glassmakers and fresh seafood.
How to get there:
There’s only one vaporetto (waterbus) line that runs from Venice to Burano: the 12. The large, express ferry runs from Venice’s San Zaccaria stop (near St. Mark’s) to Burano and takes about 45 minutes. A ticket costs a little over $7 per person.
Other Picture Worthy Places We Recommend

Monument Valley
Explore iconic towering sandstone buttes that are often the backdrop for Western films. This incredible landscape comes into view after driving for 17 miles on a winding road through the desert. The surrounding area is a campground, allowing you to go to sleep under the stars and wake up (we suggest at sunrise!) to take in the glorious view.
How to get there:
Pack your bags and get ready for a road trip! Fly into a nearby airport and expect to drive to your final destination. Access to the Monument Valley Tribal Park is on US-163 just north of the Utah-Arizona border. The closest airports are in Phoenix (320 miles away) and Albuquerque (324 miles away). Also not that it’ll costs $20 per vehicle (up to four people) to enter the park.

Santa Fe
Nestled in the Sangre de Cristo foothills is Santa Fe, a town that’s renowned for its Pueblo-style architecture and is known as a creative arts hotbed. Its crooked streets and adobe landmarks make for ample photo opportunities and is any artists lover's dream. Sante Fe is home to the Georgia O'Keeffe Museum, a permanent collection housing over 3,000 of her works.
How to get there:
Fly into Albuquerque then rent a car, take a shuttle, or taxi into Santa Fe which is about an hour away
CAN'T MISS: Meow Wolf, an  immersive and interactive experience that will transport you into fantastic realms of story and exploration

Salvation Mountain
There’s a reoccurring theme of love at Salvation Mountain. This truly unique piece of art is a sight to see in the lower desert of Southern California.
How to get there:
Located in Niland about an hour and a half away from Palm Springs. The best way to get there is to pull out your map and drive.

Cadillac Ranch, Amarillo Texas
Feel nostalgic at Cadillac Ranch, a public art installation and sculpture in Amarillo, Texas. The installment shows the progression in the design of the tailfin over the successive generations of the car line. The tailfin is a unique and recognizable feature of a Cadillac that will transport you back in time.
How to get there:
Take I-40 to exit 60. Follow the frontage road on the south side of I-40 East (old Route 66) for one mile. Cadillac Ranch will be on the right!
